Declutter: Must Have Amazon Items

This Amazon list includes various items, such as storage bins, drawer dividers, and hanging organizers, to help you through your decluttering process.

I recently embarked on a month-long journey of decluttering my apartment. It was a process of sifting through items accumulated over my past career in education, mixed with keepsakes and remnants from my college years through my twenties. The experience was truly liberating, as I made the conscious decision to part with most of it. Not all, of course. But the items I did keep needed a permanent, non-invasive place in my home. And I couldn’t have achieved this without the help of the organizational items listed in this blog post.

These practical and effective items were instrumental in helping me regain control over my home, and I’m excited to share them with you!

  1. Rubbermaid Storage Containers (71 Quarts)

These Rubbermaid Storage Containers were a game-changer at the start of my decluttering journey. With a plethora of items from my old classroom to sort and dispose of and limited space, these spacious and stackable containers made the process a breeze. The fact that they are see-through also meant that labeling was unnecessary, adding to the convenience.

  1. Moving Bags

I love an elaborate wreath for each season and every holiday. These moving bags are great for seasonal decor storage. The zipper and handle make these moving bags ideal for swapping out items and moving them back and forth as the seasons change.

  1. Vacuum Sealer Bags

These vacuum sealer bags are a total space saver! They come with a manual pump and a variety of bag sizes. It’s impressive how much they can hold.

  1. Clear Plastic Stackable Shoe Organizer Bins

Here’s a gentle reminder: recycle those nice shoe boxes. These stackable shoe organizers save so much space in the closet. They are easy to assemble and a game-changer for closet organization.

  1. Plastic Boot Storage Box

Oh, What are we to do with boots once the weather gets warm? Put them in these storage boxes, of course. Once the boots are packed into their very own storage box, you can stand them up, stack them, or slide them in between a tight space until the temperature drops again.

  1. Plastic Drawer Organizer

Not too long ago, I scoffed at drawer organizers’ absurdity. Now, I can’t speak more highly of them. Seriously. It’s so much easier to find what I’m looking for when items in drawers are placed in these plastic drawer organizers.

  1. Belt Hanger for Closet

I debated which belt organizer to purchase for a while but ultimately settled on a belt hanger for my closet. It saves space and can hold up to 14 belts!

  1. Sliding Cabinet Basket Organizer

The Sliding Cabinet Basket is a back and knee saver. No more crouching down and climbing into the cabinet. The bottom drawer of this organizer slides out, making it easier to see whatever is hiding in the back corners of the cabinet.

  1. Under Bed Storage Bag

These under-bed storage bags were also a positive investment during the beginning stages of decluttering my home. I had a pile of keepsake t-shirts I wanted to keep but no longer wore on a regular basis. I simply folded the t-shirts, placed them in the storage bag, and slid it under the bed. The bag comes with two storage bags in a pack. Both bags can fit under a queen-size bed.

  1. Stackable Refrigerator or Pantry Organizers

I maintain an ingredient household, which means the more storage space in the refrigerator, the better. The stackable refrigerator organizers help keep all my ingredients visible and easy to reach.
